As the year has drawn to a close, we want to thank you for being part of the Parkhill Baptist Church family. Whether you joined us as new members or are regular attendees, we’re so glad you make time for un in 2011. On January 29th we will have a recap of events from 20111. Join us @ 4:30pm for the 2011 Financial Report. At 5:30 we will join together for a church wide potluck. After “feasting” we will gather for the Vision Meeting. Our pastor, Deacons and Staff want to share their plans and vision for Parkhill Baptist Church in 2012.

Looking Forward: In 2012, Parkhill will celebrate is 100th anniversary. We look forward to our busiest and best year ever.

Run For God

Just in time for New Year’s resolutions, join Run For God, a 12 week small group designed to encourage spiritual and physical development. From February to April we will pray, study and train together following God’s word every step of the way. In May, we’ll have the opportunity to run a 5K!

Never Run before? Don’t think you can? This group is open to all activity levels with guidelines for beginners. Lots of running in your background? Join us and be a mentor!

Grab your friends and family, this will be lots of fun for all.

Volunteer – Tech Arts Team

Looking to get more involved, but not sure how or where? The Tech Arts team may be the place for you. We have openings for sound techs and presentation techs. No experience necessary! We will make sure that you get the training you need. We are looking for people that are willing to commit to 1 weekend a month for 6 months.

Sound Tech - Responsible for running sound during the worship services. Experience is welcome, but not necessary, you just need to have a good ear for sound and an ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.

Presentation Tech - Responsible for running the media displays during the worship services, words for songs, presentations for the Pastor, etc…

We are expanding the Tech Arts team into other areas as well. More information is coming soon!

Food Pounding for Pastor Cody

Along with the potluck dinner on January 29th, we want to “pound” the Clearman family with food and household items. Cody is a “big” guy with 2 “little” guys and of course his wife, Kristen. Let’s fill their pantry with food and share our Colorado hospitality.

Merry Christmas from Parkhill Baptist Church

Christmas Day is Sunday. We will have one service at 10:30am. This will be a special time to celebrate all that is great about Christmas with our families. Just a reminder, there will not be any Sunday School, Adult Classes or Childrenn’s Ministry. A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers. Also there is not a Christmas Eve Service at Parkhill. See you Christmas Day after you open your presents. Come together and worship the “Greatest Gift”.

The Church office will be closed on December 26th and January 2nd. Merry Christmas.
